Rugby World Cup EventWe designed, built, transported and managed a portable event that provided uniforms, accreditation and training to around 6000 enthusiastic volunteers across the Rugby World Cup’s 13 regional locations. The event included welcome desks, an exhibition space, inspiration and training areas, distribution desks, clothing management and storage, help desks, props/displays, trophies and even a portable cinema.

“Designing a modular kit which fits into 13 unique venues was a challenge, but Henson Franklyn were able to step up and deliver a high quality kit which looks fantastic in every venue we’ve been to. The personal approach of project management and flexibility of Henson Franklyn has helped make the project a great success.”

Our incredibly flexible design was built around an extruded aluminium structure and printed textile walls that could be configured to fit any space. To help control the flow of volunteers efficiently we planned every installation in detail and produced renders of every site.
